We had a great Youth Group turnout last night. The food spread was amazing, including chips and salsa, cookies and homemade stromboli.
The much touted xbox soccer rematch between Josh and Matt didn't happen as Josh was a no-show. Apparently it had something to do with fear of being humiliated yet again. But for those keeping track, that forfeit puts Matt up 3 games to 0.
For our lesson, we discussed the video shown below. This is a popular video on the Internet about a young boy calling into a Christian radio station to discuss something that had happened in his life. The video makes a great point that whenever you feel so overwhelmed by something in your life, God definitely understands and is there for you.
