Pastor Rob told the story of Ruth in a very different way, by leaving out the actual names of the characters and instead relying on the meanings of their names. It showed how the story can easily apply to any time and any place.
The service began with a piano solo of "His Eye Is On the Sparrow".
The choir paid another 4th of July tribute with "Let Freedom Ring", a song made popular by the Gaither Vocal Band.
Caroline sang a popular Phillips, Craig and Dean song called "Only You".
